Black Raven exists in more than one location, with team members and clients across multiple states. At the same time, our company’s roots are planted right here in Saint Louis, Missouri. To express our love for this community, we have partnered with two incredible local organizations for their upcoming Earth Day Electronics Recycling & Food Drive event! This event is an opportunity for us to come together and make a positive impact for our community.

• Date: Saturday, April 20, 2024
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Location: Shrewsbury City Hall, 5200 Shrewsbury Ave, St. Louis, MO 63119

Food Drive Donations Benefit Operation Food Search.

As part of our commitment to fighting food insecurity, we’re partnering with Operation Food Search (OFS) for the food drive. OFS is dedicated to providing free food, nutrition education, and innovative programs to combat hunger in our community.

Mission and Focus of Operation Food Search:

• Purpose: OFS provides free food, nutrition education, and innovative programs to combat food insecurity.
• Strategic Focus: The organization aims to end childhood hunger by empowering families and increasing access to healthy and affordable food.
• Scale and Reach: OFS serves approximately 200,000 individuals each month and collaborates with 330 community partners across 27 counties in Missouri and Illinois.

• Light Tuna & Salmon
• Canned Chicken
• Canned Fruit
• Canned Veggies
• Soup, Stew
• Diced Tomatoes & Tomato Sauce
• Canned Beans
• Instant Brown Rice
• Whole Wheat Pasta
• Dried Spices

How You Can Help Operation Food Search:

Donate: Every dollar donated helps provide $10 worth of food and services to those in need.

Volunteer: Join the thousands of OFS volunteers who contribute their time to heal hunger in the community.

Please note that OFS does not accept perishable goods, glass containers, or ramen noodles.

Electronics Recycling with Phoenix Solutions

In addition to our food drive, we’re teaming up with Phoenix Solutions for electronics recycling. Phoenix Solutions is a trusted partner in environmentally responsible recycling practices.

Accepted Electronics for Recycling:

• Laptops
• PC Towers & Desktops
• Cell Phones
• Tablets
• Printers
• Hard Drives (data securely destroyed)
• TVs & computer monitors
• Servers and Network Equipment

Items Not Accepted by Phoenix Solutions:

• General Consumables (plastic, glass, etc)
• Refrigerators & Freon-Based Appliances
• Kitchen Devices (air fryers, pressure cookers)
• Vacuum Cleaners, Home Appliances
• Fluorescent Tubes and light bulbs
• Smoke detectors
